![]() ![]() ![]() TinySpell is the most well known alternative and while it works fairly well even in Notepad, it is not quite as good as spellcheck in Word which can be set to autocrrect as you type. I have always wondrd as much about the weird things that spellcheck DOES do as much as the time it cant be used at all. None of the Forum software even offers a correction, ANd a fe others like "better" Try spelling that with 1 t or any mispelling you like and "better" is never offered as the correct option. I do this all the time and Word and Outlook both have it in the built in dictionaries rto correct. (There are plenty of them in this post but none are marked as misspelled.) One of the MOST annoying issues (to me anyway) is that nothing i can find will autocorrect the improper use of the lowercase letter i. It works like a custom dictionary and wont help much if the 'fix' isn't in it (at least from what i could tell). Supposedly it will work across all applications and has a way to add more corrections to it. For what irt is worth (and it may not be much) i did locate a vbs script that I have not yet tested. ![]()
